1. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
Apologies were received from Bethan Jenkins, there was no subsitute.
2. Inquiry into the Equality considerations in the Welsh Government's budget - Evidence session
The Chair welcomed Sue Cohen, a management member of the Women’s Budget Group management committee. Member questioned the witness.
Sue Cohen agreed to send the Committee a link to the Kirklees Strategy.
3. Inquiry into the Equality considerations in the Welsh Government's budget - Evidence session
The Chair welcomed Adele Baumgardt, the Co-chair of the Women’s Equality Network (WEN) Wales and Professor Teresa Rees from Cardiff University. The Members questioned the witnesses.
Professor Rees agreed to provide the Committee with specific research papers on the international examples referred to at the meeting.
4. Inquiry into the Equality considerations in the Welsh Government's budget - Evidence Session
The Chair welcomed Kate Bennett and Jamie Westcombe from the Equality and Human Rights Commission. The Members questioned the witnesses.
5. Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the meeting for the following business:
Motion was agreed.
6. Inquiry into the Welsh Government's historic environment policy - Consideration of key issues
Members agreed that this would be considered at next week’s meeting.
7. Stakeholder event - evaluation
Members agreed that the event was a success and an excellent opportunity to engage with stakeholders. They agreed that similar events should be held in the future.
